What is a Premature Infant?

Parental Support and Education

The birth of a premature infant can be an overwhelming experience for parents. Educating and supporting parents is crucial for the well-being of both the infant and the family. Programs such as kangaroo care (skin-to-skin contact) and breastfeeding support are beneficial. Additionally, psychological counseling and peer support groups can help parents cope with the stress and anxiety associated with a preterm birth.
