What are the Stages of ROP?
ROP is classified into five stages based on the severity of the disease:
1.
Stage 1
: Mildly abnormal blood vessel growth.
2.
Stage 2
: Moderately abnormal blood vessel growth.
3.
Stage 3
: Severely abnormal blood vessel growth.
4.
Stage 4
: Partially detached retina.
5.
Stage 5
: Completely detached retina, which can lead to blindness.
